In a step toward increasing awareness of non-court approaches, we’re very proud to announce the launch of our private Facebook group, “Sorting out Separation”. This dedicated online space is designed to help people understand the approaches available for them to help navigate the complexities of separation, divorce, co-parenting, finances and family transitions while avoiding court.
The aim of the group is to offer a secure, judgment-free environment where separated people can ask questions, share experiences, and receive support. Topics covered include mediation, arbitration, solicitors, round table meetings, costs of each one and tips for making positive and long-lasting arrangements during and after separation.
Separation and co-parenting can be emotional, confusing and expensive. Where safe, our goal with this group is to provide a space where individuals, parents and couples can find trusted advice about which avenue to use, connect with others facing similar situations, make the best use of their budgets and feel empowered to make the best decisions for their families.
We hope that members will post questions and share experiences, and every Friday we aim to answer as many as we can. Members will be able to post anonymously.
Key Features of the Group Include:
- Expert Insights: Answers and guidance from family mediators, arbitrators and solicitors, as well as psychotherapists and other neutral experts.
- Peer Support: A community offering understanding and shared experiences.
- Resources: Access to guides, articles, and tips for choosing the right process.
- Privacy: A safe and secure environment, with membership restricted to ensure confidentiality and trust.
Joining the group is simple and free. Prospective members can visit www.facebook.com/groups/8342713352499422 and request to join. All membership requests will be reviewed to ensure the group remains a safe and respectful space for all participants.
At the heart of this is our continued commitment to strengthening and empowering families. Everyone here firmly believes that by supporting parents, couples and families to make better decisions, we’re ultimately supporting children and fostering healthier futures for everyone involved.
Please note that we do not provide legal advice in the group, and if you need individual support you should contact a solicitor specialising in family law, preferably one with a track record in reducing conflict.
