Lynn Jackson
Having studied Law and Economics at University I qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and soon decided to specialise in Family Law in both children and financial cases. I became a director of my own firm on the South Coast which I ran for 15 years and during that time became interested in seeking out non court based solutions for my clients.
That led me to trained as a Family Mediator, and I became Accredited in October 2017.
Having left my own practice shortly before, I now concentrate on my mediation practice assisting private and legally aided clients – both in person and online. A member of Resolution and the Family Mediation Council, I am also qualified to see children as part of the mediation process and to offer a hybrid process to include solicitors when that is preferred.
I still work as a practising solicitor on a small number of private cases. Having seen family work from all aspects, I believe even more in the benefits of families reaching their own resolutions where this is possible.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking with our mad border collie and boating around the south coast. I also do volunteering work arising out of the pandemic.
“Thank you ever so much you’ve been amazing, words can explain how I’m feeling it’s been a very emotional time lately with so much happening, today has lifted me, very happy with everything.”
