Our Values
Passion
First and foremost we are passionate about what we do. We work only with families, and we are all specialists in our own areas.
Because we believe in access to help and support, we offer legal aid for mediation and allocate pro bono time across the year.
Innovation
As our name suggests, we help our clients find solutions in a constructive and collaborative way, and we were one of the first firms to dedicate ourselves to working in this way. Many of our team are mediators or arbitrators as well as being family lawyers. We spend a lot of time training with and learning from the best, so that we can help our clients find lasting outcomes.
Dedication
We are proud members of Resolution, a community of family law professionals dedicated to constructive working. We work to their Code of Practice. Some of our team members are active committee members and trainers for Resolution.
Our mediators are all accredited by the Family Mediation Council, or are working towards their accreditation. It is important to us that we maintain high standards.
Rebecca and Claire sit on various committees for Resolution, Family Mediation Council and Family Mediators Association.
Champions
As a team, we work very hard to promote a non-court approach. We believe in access to justice and improving the court experience, and have sat on the Family Justice Council as well as our local Family Justice Boards. On the occasions that our clients need to use the court, we continue to work respectfully and courteously whilst representing their best interests.
Support
The work we do can be tough on all of us, We offer therapeutic support to our entire team, giving them space to process some of the things they may have been involved with, or that may have triggered past memories. As one of the first group of Family Law Supervisors to have trained, we know that it is crucial to look after our own wellbeing, so that we are better able to support our clients.
Our team offer supervision to other family law professionals, often on a pro-bono basis.
